Welcome
Old Mill Ministries is a missionary outreach assisting the people of this part of the Appalachian Mountains. We are working with the owner of the Old Mill Music Park (pictured here) in an effort to acquire this property. In the mean time, they have been so gracious and a blessing to us by allowing us to use when needed. We are a nondenominational Christian Ministry, working along with other churches, schools, private supporters and other Christian based organizations to provide assistance to the needs of the surrounding area. Collectively we will help our brothers and sisters any way we can. The park will also be utilized as a retreat for churches, conduct various Christian music venues from Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, to more contemporary styles of music, community choir and drama's.
All of our programs are staffed with volunteers.
Despite the 10"+ inches of snow, A Christmas Celebration was held on Monday Dec. 21st from 3PM to 7PM at Johnson County High School. Although plans had to be revised, nearly 300 people enjoyed dessert, going through clothing and receiving a toy for each child. The weather may have impacted the event, but Old Mill Ministries still impacted families in the Mountain City area.
We appreciate all the work that occured, both before the event, during and afterwards to make this a success. We'll have more pictures later, but here are just a few of the happy faces that were able to receive a blessing.
Old Mill Ministries on WMCT Radio
Old Mill Ministries was given the opportunity to minister to people in the listening area of WMCT Radio, Mountain City, TN on Sunday Oct. 18th. They joined radio owner, Janice Russell for 30 minutes of music and teaching. Those listening from the area enjoyed a wonderful teaching by Old Mill Ministries Director, Andy Zeggert, who taught on The Blood of Jesus. They received several calls from listeners, and because of such a great response, they have invited us to hold a radio service each week.
